Sponsoring monthly BB/air gun shoots.
From a young shooter’s first BB gun, to the precision
air rifles and pistols men and women use in the Olympic games, air guns have
spanned the generations. Air/BB gun shooting offers family fun, challenge, a
chance to work on marksmanship, and enjoyment that can last a lifetime.

Our program will give children ages six to twelve
years old the knowledge, and then the confidence, to first and foremost safely
handle a rifle (air/BB gun). They will learn:
• Rules of safe gun handling
• Proper range commands
• How to conduct ones self on a range with multiple shooters.
• Three position shooting: standing, kneeling and bench rest.
• Proper sight alignment.
• Trigger control. |
BB Gun
Shoots are held the third Saturday of the month, October through April, from
2PM-4PM.

First they will take an hour-long
firearms safety class. After that, it’s plinking time: pop cans, clays, and all manner of
reactive (knock down/shatter) targets. We also have $ filled balloons. Here they
will put into practice all that they have just learned.
We have six CO2 “Black Diamond” BB
guns or
they may use their own rifle and they can bring their friends.
With the instruction they receive and
the hands on use of our rifles
your child will develop confidence and take responsibility
for safety in the uses of a firearm!
