To Our Future Certified NRA Instructors:
This letter shall advise you of our schedule of classes for Instructor
Training and the disciplines of Pistol, Personal Protection, Rifle, Shotgun, and Range
Safety Officer at the Pitcairn Monroeville Sportsmen Club, 505 Mosside Boulevard, North Versailles Twp, PA,
on January 8th and 9th,15th and 16th and 22nd , 2005. Our classes are open to
those seeking to become Certified NRA instructors. Those Certified NRA Instructors who recently completed instruction by Training
Counselors, Gene Hurley & John Bertoty in other NRA instructor classes and have taken Instructor training do not
have to attend the first session on January 8th, 2005. All others must attend the first session. No live ammunition is permitted in
the classroom. Classes run from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Our proposed schedule is as follows: 1/8/05 - Instructor training ($60),
1/9/05 - Pistol instructor training ($60), 1/15/05 - Personal Protection instructor training ($60), 1/16/05 - Rifle instructor
training ($60), & Shotgun instructor training ($60) and 1/22/05 - Range Safety Officer training ($75). The schedule may vary
somewhat due to the number of participants and progress rate.
If you wish to attend, please call, write, or e-mail (preferred) either
training Counselor. Fees are as follows: PMSC Members rate is 50% of fees. Fees for Instructor Training and the 5 disciplines are
$375.00, with 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid by 12/10/04 and
the remaining 50% due on the first day of class. Since we use Total
Participant Involvement,
our minimum class size is 10 per discipline.
