NRA Instructors Training Program
The goal of this program is to develop instructors to teach NRA Basic Firearm Training Courses according to the lesson plans and training standards of the National Rifle Association. Possession of basic firearm safety and/or shooting skills is a prerequisite for NRA Instructor certification. You will be asked to demonstrate your forearm background through participation in pre-course assessment exercises.

The complete course consists of two parts...

1 BASIC INSTRUCTOR TRAINING -
6 hours of instruction

2 DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTOR TRAINING -
10 - 14 hours of instructions per specific discipline with the exception of Home Firearm Safety.

6 areas of discipline are...

Pistol	= 10 hours
Rifle	= 10 hours
Shotgun	= 10 hours
Range Safety Officer	= 10 hours
Personal Protection	= 10 hours
Home Firearm Safety	?

TOTAL HOURS	50+ hours of instruction


COST:	$150.00 non-refundable fee $150.00 fee due upon first day of class
