Yesterday 4 April 2018, for the second time, Pennsylvania Governor Wolf renewed a proclamation declaring Pennsylvania’s heroin and opioid epidemic a statewide disaster emergency, triggering the firearm prohibitions found in 18 Pa.C.S. § 6107 during declared emergencies.
Pursuant to 18 Pa.C.S. § 6107, an individual, who could generally carry a firearm in public without a license to carry firearms (LTCF) (with the exception of in the City of Philadelphia as a city of the first class), cannot do so during a state of emergency thereby limiting his/hers Constitutional “Rights” under PA Code.

Are we NEXT on the Anti-Gun Merry-Go-Round?
In a surprising and disturbing development, PA House Judiciary Committee Chairman, Rep. Ron Marsico scheduled 3 days of hearings on Gun Laws and Violence. The House Judiciary Committee will be holding these hearings on “Gun Laws and Violence” April 9-12.
The purpose of these hearings is supposedly to provide an opportunity for [ONLY] members of the PA House of Representatives to offer proposals and comments on firearm-related issues. NO other testimony will be allowed, not from citizens and NOT from experts although public attendance is allowed.

And if you think there is No possibility of firearm confiscation then you haven’t read the news out of Florida, New York, California, and Illinois where they have already passes “Red Flag” Magazine, AR-15 banning, and raising to purchase a firearm to 21, laws and have started confiscations. In PA they have introduced the same laws that have passed on Florida, California, Vermont, New York since the Parkland Shooting.
